Dr. Anne Kolbe is a paediatric surgeon with thirty years clinical practice experience in the public and private health systems of New Zealand, Australia and the United States of America, and a member of the EXCITE International Executive Board.

Anne Kolbe is a paediatric surgeon with thirty years clinical practice experience in the public and private health systems of New Zealand, Australia and the United States of America.
Anne is a Member of the Whanganui District Health Board Risk and Audit Committee, the MidCentral District Health Board Finance, Risk and Audit Committee and the MidCentral Quality and Excellence Advisory Committee. She is an Advisor to the federal Taskforce Reviewing the Australian Medicare Benefits Schedule. Anne is a previous President of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She served by Cabinet appointment as the Executive Chair of the New Zealand National Health Committee from 2011 to 2016. She has been a Member of the Auckland District Health Board Hospital Advisory Committee.
In addition to her commitments in New Zealand Anne is an Evaluator for the European Commission, a Member of HTAi and a reviewer for the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care. She is a member of the Board of Directors of EXCITE International, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and immediate past Chair of the Policy Working Group (PWG) of the Global Genomic Medicine Collaborative (G2MC), Anne has been a Member of HealthPACT, INAHTA and EuroScan.

Anne holds Honorary Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is a Member of the Court of Honour Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Anne is an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
